Golfing

After playing the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), in both single and double A, as any good Canadian boy would, at the age of 14, and for the sake of keeping my wits about me,  I turned to a sport that posed a challenge on more of a mental, than physical level.

This is where you will usually find me on weekends year-round, whether it’s on the links or in the golf dome. I’ve had the fortune of playing golf as long as I can remember, playing in provincial and national tournaments, captaining my high school varsity team at Upper Canada College to a CISAA championship as well as competing on the varsity team at Laurier.

Travelling

It seems I’ve been bitten by the travel bug. This summer I was able to go backpacking in Europe with some friends, and it was a great experience that not only brought some brevity and perspective on how people live in different countries, but also allowed for the exploration of the deep and rich history that Europe has to offer. I love to sight see, and will never  grow weary of seeing another breathtaking cathedral or visiting museums.

The next I get time off, the plan is explore Asia. Having worked in Jakarta a couple summers ago, and visiting Hong Kong, I would love to explore more of what Asia has to offer, especially Vietnam, Laos and Japan.
